Chef Federico Giugno


Chef Federico Giugno brings 25 years of experience in the hospitality food and beverage industry. His father Nino was a restaurateur in Argentina, and he worked for him at the age of 15 years old he started learning the business. Federico worked in some of the finest resorts before moving to America in 1996.


In 2002 Chef Federico was a top honors graduate from Orange County School of Culinary Arts and a master's in international Cuisine at the prestigious Gato Dumas School in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1995. After completing his education, he began his working career in luxury hotels throughout Buenos Aires Argentina including Alvear Palace Hotel.


He has earned his culinary experience under the guidance of some highly seasoned chefs at a number of top restaurants venues. He also served as personal chef for the legendary producer "Jay Bernstein" and cook to many other celebrities in Hollywood stars such as, John Travolta, Arnold Schwarzenegger and First Lady Laura Bush just to name a few.


In 1999 he served as the Executive Chef for First Class Catering in Los Angeles and catered numerous events like the National Democratic Convention in Downtown Los Angeles, The Gas Company/Sempra Energy, and Governor Gray Davis.


He has shared his passion and vigor in the kitchen at such establishments as the Star two Michelin Restaurant Aqua, as well as being Chef de Cuisine for the St Regis Resorts and Spa.


After 25 years he retired from the kitchen and invested in his new adventure the wine business and opened The Wine Connections in Los Angeles he imports wine from his native land Argentina and brings exclusive malbec wines from Valle De Uco.


In 2022 Federico Giugno is doing a new project as an Executive Director/ partner with a group of investors opening a "wagyu meat & wine market" CCM in Commerce, CA and a Restaurant franchise pizza concept with numerous future locations in USA and Mexico.
